Operating Company

SISEX SA is equally owned by the two concessionaires: SITRASB S.p.A.(Società Italiana per il Traforo del Gran-San-Bernardo) based in Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, Italy and TGSB SA (Tunnel du Grand-Saint-Bernard SA) based in Bourg-Saint-Pierre, Switzerland. The role of SISEX SA is largely commercial (Marketing) and administers the division of revenue between the two concessionary companies. It also deals specifically with matters pertaining to prices and special offers. In accordance with Directive 2004/54/CE, since 1st July 2010, SISEX SA is the sole operator, holding responsibility for the management, safety and maintenance of the tunnel.
